It’s important to change your UTV engine oil often, especially if you are using it in wet, muddy, and dusty conditions. The added debris from these conditions combined with the high RPM can be hard on your oil and the components that it lubricates. The harsh conditions are also the reason why to use UTV specific engine oil. Standard auto oil just can’t handle the abuse that engine oil receives in a side by side. UTV oil contains specific additive blends to help clean and reduce sheer.
