Brake pads are the most common replacement when it comes to UTV brakes. They are the first component to wear out and the cheapest to replace. When it comes to brake pads, you’ll have a choice to make. You’ll have to make the choice between metallic and non-metallic brake pads.
Non-metallic brake pads tend to be made with carbon or ceramic materials, and they offer the softest and smoothest braking experience. They are also the cheapest, but they wear out the fastest, and they don’t always have enough bite for aggressive riders.
Metallic brake pads are just the opposite. They last longer, and offer more bite. But, they cost more, and they are much touchier.
These are the facts, but which one you choose is entirely up to you. With a little reflection on your riding style and habits, you’ll be able to make a well-rounded decision and pick the best option. We hope we’ve helped, we are happy to help however we can.
