Thunderheader Racing Products Exhaust

It’s that unmistakable rumble. The sound of a Thunderheader exhaust system is instantly recognizable when it passes. That may be the first thing about Thunderheader that catches your attention, but it’s the power, torque and craftsmanship that make riders loyal. Thunderheader may not be the biggest brand name in the industry, but search for them on any forum and you will find nothing but positive reviews. The first Thunderheader exhaust systems rolled out in 1989 and were later patented in 1992. Hardcore riders instantly recognized the prowess of Thunderheader exhaust systems and some of the top names in the industry began running them on their own personal bikes. Throughout the years, more and more riders caught on and they continue to be a favorite choice for Harley riders.

Thunderheader head pipes are tuned to the proper length and diameter to produce maximum horsepower and an excellent torque curve. With a patented collector design, only Thunderheader systems can produce their power, torque and sound. The collector directs spent gases through acoustical dampening chambers, which creates a spiral motion upon exiting the pipes. This also creates an anti-reversion trap to minimize the amount of air rushing back in.
