EXCELLANT VALUE FOR THE PRICE
INSTALLED IT ON MY 85 FLT. HAD TO USE DIFFERENT SPACERS BUT WORKED OUT FINE. DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE BRAKE LINE. REQUIRERS BAN-JO TYPE FITTING.

Brake pad vibrations
I made the mistake of installing this kit with the stainless steel rotor.
And, as warned, it vibrated and made a buzzing racket when slowing to 25 mph to a stop.
I then replaced the rotor after 113 miles, to a stock original solid cast iron one.
Only have tested for 25 miles at this point.
It did start to make the racket noise at the end of my journey test.
My original caliper is shot and I need to keep the m/c on the road.
It is need for a 1500 mile trip soon.
The caliper kit fits perfectly and was no trouble, more than normal, to install.
I did notice how these pads hang on a pair of dowel pins.
This reminded me of the old shovels and their banana type calipers, only this is more compact and a dual piston.
Makes me wonder if the pins will wear where the pads ride on them like the old bikes.
Time will tell.
I will know more once my trip is complete in the next 2 weeks. 8-18-2015
