JIMS Chrome Damage Control Engine Failure Detection System for 7/8 in. Handlebars
    • JIMS new engine failure detection system provides an early warning of catastrophic engine failure. Such failures are more than an inconvenience; they can be costly and could even lead to safety problems
    • Since engine destruction rarely happens suddenly, there is often time to minimize the amount of damage that can occur. Even small metal shavings can work their way into vital engine components, such as bearings, tappets, and oil pumps. Leading to the domino effect resulting in extensive damage and repair costs could possibly exceed the value of the machine
    • The trick is to recognize impending problems as early as possible. Using state-of-the-art technology our new system monitors the presence of ferrous metal debris in the engine oil through a sensor in our special drain plug. When the amount of particles in the oil reaches a level that could indicate impending trouble, the LED warning light in the handlebar clamp immediately illuminates
    • Although not capable of predicting every mechanical failure, the warning device provides additional protection against engine repairs that could cost 50 times as much as the device
    • Easy to install
    • Includes a complete wiring harness; no cutting or splicing required
    • 7/8" bar clamp
    • Made in the U.S.A.
