One great way to tweak your quads performance is by changing the sprockets and chain. By changing your front or rear sprocket, you can make differences in top speed and acceleration. Finding the right combination for your needs can give you an edge on your next trip around the track.

Another thing to consider would be your brake pads. The brake pads you choose will dictate the feel and lifespan of your brakes. Sintered brake pads offer the most aggressive braking and the longest life, but they are also the least smooth. Organic brake pads are the opposite. They are the smoothest, but they don’t last as long. Semi sintered brake pads fall in the middle of the spectrum on all points. What will work best for you is entirely dependent on your preferences and riding style.
