Introducing the Thunderheader Black 2-into-1 High Performance Exhaust System - 1026B -- the perfect accessory for any motorcycle enthusiast seeking maximum horsepower and low-end torque. Our patented collector design directs spent exhaust gases in a spiral motion through four acoustical damping chambers to provide optimal performance. The anti-reversion design works tirelessly to impede reverse flow through the system. This is important because reverse flow can contaminate the incoming fuel/air mixture and reduces performance and throttle response.

As reverse flow enters the collector, the diffuser deflects it through vents to the pyramidal trap and apertures impede the reverse flow. This allows time for the exhaust valve to close, offering smooth travel of exhaust gases over the entire length, which improves exhaust scavenging. With equal area at each end, the flow director lets exhaust gases travel at a constant velocity over the entire length.

Discoloration (bluing) results from tuning characteristics, cam timing, carburetor jetting, overheating among others, and it is not caused by defective manufacturing.
