Great quality but a challenge to install in a KTM 990
As mentioned in the title, a challenge to install.
The instructions that came with the clamps are outdated. Instructions are to torque them to 7 Nm, wait 30 minutes and re-torque due to the silicone material relaxing. I re-torqued after 30 minutes and managed to strip two clamps. I contacted Racebikebitz and was told instructions are out dated. I should've torqued to 5 Nm. Since it's impossible to order just two clamps, I had to order a whole new set (from a company that delivered quickly) I replaced all the clamps with the new ones as my fear was the clamps torqued to 7 Nm may indeed fail at a future date. Expensive mistake...
