    Why is layerwear important
    Consider - for maximum performance when riding, it's essential to keep a steady body temperature. This allows your body to direct its energy towards effort, instead of heat regulation. A key factor for maintaining consistent internal body temperature is proper layerwear.
    Why merino?
    Merino wool (from the Merino breed of sheep) is one of the softest wools available because of its finer fibers and smaller scales, thus providing a luxurious, non-itchy handfeel. Blending the wool with synthetic fibers offers durability, along with a performance-enhancing fit.
    Regulates body temperature
    The wool / synthetic combo helps to maintain a steady body temperature by providing warmth as wool, unlike any other fiber, has insulative properties even when wet. While at the same time, the synthetic fibers wick moisture away from the skin, helping to keep you dry. Mesh ventilation in key areas assist in breathability.
    Constructed for performance
    Flat-lock coverstitched seams reduce bulk and friction. Our tops are styled with a longer length to ensure no midriff exposure. Pant cuffs are fitted tight to the ankle to reduce bulk inside the boot.
    Odor control
    Merino wool contains lanolin, which has natural antibacterial properties.
    Easy Care
    Machine wash and dry with minimal shrinkage - investment pieces that will last through many seasons.
