ATV Brake Rotors
Brake rotors are not the flashiest upgrade that you can buy for your ATV. Even if they do look kind of cool with their intricate designs, you won’t be able to see them while driving anyways. But while they aren’t flashy, they are important. One of the most important components on an ATV, actually. After all, 50 miles an hour is less fun when you don’t have the option of stopping. Luckily, that won’t be an issue for you. Our great selection of ATV brake discs is sure to have whatever you need.
Rotors are a simple concept; simply apply pressure with a caliper/pad, create friction, and the wheel slows down. But this simple idea has been studied and developed to reach incredible performance levels. The brake discs you see here are not cut into these shapes for fun, they were cut to maximize performance. Removing excess material makes them lighter; the grooves and holes you see are designed to whisk away water and heat, further enhancing the performance of your ATV. These simple discs are designed with more than 100 years of brake engineering at their back.
One thing worth noting: while plenty of brake rotors don’t have a specific direction that they are supposed to face, others do! They face a certain way because the holes and grooves are made to be most efficient while spinning in a certain direction. Take a second and read the directions to make sure that you are getting the most out of your ATV brake rotors.
The sooner you place your order, the sooner we can get you back out on your wheeler! Our hardworking warehouse team will be putting in the hours to make sure that we get you your rotors as soon as possible! Thank you for shopping at Dennis Kirk.
