ATV Air Filters, Air Cleaners, & Snorkel Kits

ATV air filters play a critical role. Not only do they allow the necessary air to enter the engine, but they also prevent harmful debris and contaminants from entering. The better the filter is at blocking the debris, the more protected it will be. Air still needs to be able to enter, though. The best ATV air filters allow a great amount of air to continue to flow through, while still blocking debris.

Eventually, all air filters need to be either be cleaned or replaced. Because of the environment ATVs are ridden in, filters can become dirty and clogged fairly fast. Other than appearing dirty, symptoms of a clogged air filter include poor fuel mileage, loss of power, misfires, and fouled plugs. The reduction in air causes the engine to run too rich. Changing your air filter on time can help prevent these symptoms.

Like to take your wheeler into deep water and mud pits? ATV snorkel kits are a must for riders who submerge their machine often. The snorkels provide fresh, dry air to the engine when the standard mounting location of the intake is submerged. Snorkels also provide venting and fresh air to other components including the clutches, differentials, carbs, transmission and fuel tank.
