Do you move the lock nut up or down to lock in the adjustment?
TwoWheeledAnimal T on Mar 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: If you are referring to the adjustment nut in the middle of the cable, loosening essentially lengthens the braided cover, which in turn tightens the cable. Make sure you have the recommended amount of play at the clutch lever on the handlebar. If it is too tight, the clutch may not be fully engaged. If it is too loose, the clutch may not disengage when the lever is pulled.
