Introducing the 99 Crafty Customs Contest from Easyrider & Dennis Kirk

Crafty Customs Entry

Another Crafty Customs Entry

Be honest, we know you always stop and stare when a custom bike cruises by. We also know you have probably dreamed about having your own, maybe even building your own so you can get every little detail just the way you want it. You bookmark specialty parts, browse through paint jobs, pick out the perfect accessories, but then what? Pat your painfully thin wallet and think “Maybe next year…” because you just can’t afford the $20-$30K+ it takes to make that custom dream come true.

Here at Dennis Kirk, we believe in elbow grease and spit shine and doing things your way. Easyriders/V-Twin seems to agree with us, so together we are sponsoring the 99 Crafty Customs contest. This is your chance to embrace your dream and let your creativity shine… on a budget. Here’s the gig:

Contest Significance:

Times are tight and gone are the days where riders have $20k or $30k+ to throw at a cool custom bike. In today’s economy, we believe that you have what it takes to build a crafty custom for under $10,000. In fact, we are so sure, that this contest revolves around that very fact. Buy a used 1990 – 1999 big twin Harley-Davidson and customize it spending no more than $9,999 on the entire build to qualify for this contest. Remember to get your parts at Dennis Kirk to ensure the best quality and to get the most bang for your buck.

How to Enter:

Buy a used 1990 – 1999 big twin Harley-Davidson and customize it spending no more than $9,999 on the entire build to qualify entry.

What You Can Win:

All entries are eligible for a chance to win the grand prize of $10,000, and be awarded as Crafty Custom of the Year at the Easyrider LA Bike Show. Submit photos of your build and we will feature a selected crafty custom build each month in Easyriders, V-Twin, Biker or In The Wind magazines.

Contest ends 12/31/2011 so get to work.
