ATV Sand tires are highly specialized and shouldn’t be used for any other type of terrain. But while they wouldn’t do well on hard packed soils, they are incredibly effective on sand. Sand is soft and hard to gain traction on. That’s where the paddles on the tires come in. The paddles will dig into the sand like miniature shovels and send your wheeler hurtling forward in even the loosest sand. You’ll notice that the vast majority of our sand tires have a ply rating of 2. This is in an effort to keep them as light as possible, helping you stay on top of the sand rather than plowing through it.

You might have noticed that the front tires are fitted with a strip of tread that runs in a circle around the tire. This tread helps you gain traction and turn on the sand while screaming forward at breakneck speeds.
