I wanted the bike to look old but have modern engine and brakes.
I wanted to build a motorcycle that looked like one in the early 1900’s.
I mounted the seat using leaf springs and barrel swings. I also built the girder front end using a mountain bike shock and spring for suspension. The gas cap was built using a $600 bottle of Johnnie Walker Scotch bottle cap. The headlight is from a Ford model T kerosene cowl light converted to a 6 volt high/low beam LED.
I built almost everything with a minimum of tooling. Hand tools, grinders, cutoff wheels, drill press, pipe bender, MIG welder and a small metal lathe were just about all I had to work with. I built a frame welding fixture to keep everything in alignment. And, most important, I finished the project.
They like the uniqueness and style.

Great job of of low buck innovation!
great outa da box vision
I love this bike!! He did it him self. Not just bolting on factory stuff. Or throwing tons of chrome at it. Esp since it not a harley shows how much talent he has. This is by far the #1 build for me
That is a freaking killer build
Nice original build
