2023 Softail Custom

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Wanted a bike that nobody else had and didn’t look like anyone else’s bike.

Custom built Softail. Engine and transmission are from a 2010 HD Softail that was wrecked along with the frame and swingarm.

Replaced the backbone, neck and down tube. Custom frame was built and powder coated black.

All aftermarket tins were painted with a candy tangerine paint. Mukuni carb. All covers are Arlen Ness 10 gauge.

Fat spoke wheels and Shinko tires.

Always wanted to build my own bike from the ground up.

Custom single down tube with holes. Custom plate to adapt a single down tube to the double rails on the frame.

Did everything in my garage from building the frame to paint. Only thing I didn’t do was the powder coating.

Wheels, tires and brakes: Ultima fat spoke, 18×6 rear and 21,3.5 front. Shinko tires

Finish – Paint: Candy tangerine and black

Accessories: Arlen Ness covers for engine, Mukuni carb, hyd. clutch
