2018 Homebuilt Buick

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To build something original.

What motivated you to start your project?

I had the engine and a lot of take off parts on hand and wanted to make use of them.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Adapted a Bush Hog 6′ (commercial) mower gear drive to run a chain drive motorcycle.

What are you most proud of?

The ENGINE is from a 1961 Buick Special, purchased by my wife’s grandfather when new. It is 215 cu aluminum block and heads rated at 140 hp. I had the engine for 40 years in the corner of my shop.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

It is unique.
