2017 Honda Grom

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Have a reliable bike that could keep up with traffic and be watercooled and fuel injected and have enough power.

What motivated you to start your project?

This is my first motorcycle ever my wife and i where thinking of buying  one but due to the pandemic they where sold out in most places we where lookibg arroubd and found this one very low miles and bought it the idea was she could be my “backpack” but then realized that ut wasnt going to happend so we decided to buy one for her aswell and ever sience then we have had them but due to my weight and hers everytime we would go out and ride them she would be more faster than i was not like this bike are fast at all but it was dificult to keep up with her due to the power to weight ratio. After buying aftermarket parts i heard about the famous swap that could be done on them with ease and said you know what im going to jump straight to the end and just do a swap and here it is years later. In my opinion its what the Honda Grom shouldve been from the begining.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

The custom recaro blue seat and the wheels wheels are 13×6.5 in the rear and 13 x 4 in the front powder coated in midnight blue. To match my car

What are you most proud of?

The cleanliness of the build and the details in it.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

That it looks sick

I have witnessed your investment in learning, growth, and understanding what the Honda Grom is all about. We’ve had wins and failures, but that’s all part of the process. I’m grateful to have been part of the journey and excited for what’s still to come. You deserve this, and I’m proud of everything you’ve accomplished.
