2014 Special construction Sidecar

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

The hand build a sidecar rig from scratch

What motivated you to start your project?

I have ridden side cars for over 50 years. I wanted to build a bike from the ground up that would solve some of the inherent problems of a sidecar. I like pulling to the right when you accelerate pulling to the left when you brake.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

The body is all steel. The engine resides in the trunk of the sidecar and powers both the sidecar wheel and the bike wheel. The engine is a 3800 V6 Buick with a supercharger.

What are you most proud of?

Every piece of hand built

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

They either like it or it’s too far out for them.

I think its awesome that Dennis Kirk as a online show like this to see what others are doing, even tho I have bikes on here I have to give you a 5 Star rating for originality. I love taking a bit from here and there from everyone, this one is by far the most radical. Well done!
