2013 Harley-Davidson Chopper

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I considered this my last build as I had restored two 45s and had made a Volkswagen trike and wanted to do one last bike before it was all over.

What motivated you to start your project?

I had a serious back injury and could do nothing and as our dollar was at par I started my project I sure wish the dollar was at par again most of it was bought on eBay .

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I used a Lee Enfield seat which is not pictured but will be and instead of springs used cross-country push bike shock absorbers to support the seat to remove the slop while going down the road it worked really well

What are you most proud of?

She looks pretty and is nice and low in the seat so easy to get on with a back injury but a little bit low for speed bumps

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

They praise her and say nice job

Frame: The frame was bought from American classic motorcycle with 6° Rake at the neck

Wheels, tires and brakes: Front wheel chrome 60 spoke 21 x 2.5 single desk wheel the rear wheel 60 spoke 18 x 5.5 with a Metzler tire . The brakes are aftermarket purchased from American classic they were absolute garbage the rear one seized before putting the bike on the road the front one seized shortly after being on the road , I was foolish enough to replace both and they failed .
Finish – Paint: Painted the bike myself it had been many years since I painted anything and it can be seen in the Finnish but still looks good
