2007 Harley Davidson FXSTC

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Make an original looking bike.

What motivated you to start your project?

I bought the bike from a friend who could no longer ride.  It ran great (only 14K miles)  but was visually very plain.  After getting a custom paint job, I re-did the externals to make it more of a combo old school with some newer tech.  I was in an accident about 6 months after I finished it when a bedroll blanket came off the sissy bar and went into my rear wheel.  I spent the next two years rebuilding it again.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

The custom paint job

What are you most proud of?

When I look at it, it makes me smile.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

I was at an intersection that had police doing traffic control.  I got compliments on the bike from the cops.  Almost everyone who sees it says it’s a nice looking scoot.
