2007 Harley Davidson FLHTCUSE2

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To restore it to original factory condition.

What motivated you to start your project?

I sold my 125 anaversary 2018 Ultra Limited, to get my 18 ft center console scout fishing boat to take my wife and grandsons out fishing since my retirement in October of 2025. Two years later I had been missing riding, told the wife, and went in search of my dream CVO. Found a 2007 HD CVO ULTRA CLASSIC ELECTRA GLIDE 110 SCREAMN EAGLE, 25th anniversary edition touring bike, on market place. I went to look at it and it had been garage kept from the original owner all maint. Records. It had 104,000 miles on it, but the original owner had all the maint records on file with Adarondac Harley of Jacksonville Fla. and had just put a brand new long block engine and transmission 32,000 miles before I bought it. And it came with the color matched and tire rim matched trailer. He also gave me all the tools ,maint records and accessories that went with it. He got it from his uncle a 30 year HOG ROAD CAPTIAN. His wife didn’t want to ride the older bike since he just bought the latest greatest CVO. So he sold it to me. Even though we had already negotiated the deal he asked if there was anything I didn’t like. I said the tall clear wind shield, I wanted the short smoked windshield, he asked if I had a cover for it. I said no, I gave all my accessories to to man whom bought mine. He ran down to Harley and bought me the windshield and full Harley cover came back put it on gave me a battery tender an a bottle of f-11 polish to help take care of it. I work for Home Depot since before I retired from my day job. Turns out he is the whole south east sales manager for my department. I walked away with the whole deal for $6,900 . Who said it doesn’t pay to bleed orange , was wrong.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Customized it for my and my wife’s needs, stubby antennas, phone holder and charger, cup holders.

What are you most proud of?

I replaced all the pitted chrome items. Put on new headers and pipes. And had the corrective paint work done.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

They think it looks and sounds awsome, I am so proud to ride it with my wife and our club and friends.
