2007 Harley Davidson Dyna Superglide

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To learn as much as I could about my motorcycle while making improvements along the way. I wanted to create something a bit different from what we see every day at our shop and to create something that was powerful and reliable that handles really well in all the canyons Utah has to offer.

What motivated you to start your project?

I wanted to start working towards a career in motorcycle mechanics. What better way to learn than on your own bike.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

The most creative thing that is on my bike is my seat. It is a saddlemen step up that is bright orange and black. I wanted to get some color on the bike to help me decide on which route to go with powder coat, paint in the future etc. I originally wanted just one strip of orange but when it shipped the entire tail section was orange. It looked really out of place at first but it really helped me tie in everything else. The most unique part about my bike is a set of foot pegs I have that are a one off build from zbroz racing. They use the pegs for their snow bikes but the mounts were custom built for Harley application and I am the only one with a set.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of the motor I built for the bike. It is nothing crazy but the jugs came from my dads street glide and now that we are 30 hours away from each other I can still have a piece of my dad riding with me all the time. He is one of the main reasons that I wanted to start being a mechanic because he is a diesel mechanic and has taught me so much about everything.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Most people ask me about the stereo and what components I’m using

One more important part is that if you are an older person, travel insurance regarding pensioners is something you ought to really contemplate. The more mature you are, the more at risk you might be for making something undesirable happen to you while in foreign countries. If you are never covered by some comprehensive insurance cover, you could have a few serious difficulties. Thanks for giving your hints on this weblog.
