What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Make the motorcycle a ‘one off’ and improve the performance.

What motivated you to start your project?

Love the look of a retro bobber, so creating my own was the goal.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Created my own pipes and my own baffles.

What are you most proud of?

The overall look and improved performance.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

People who own the same bike in the stock version can’t believe its the same bike.

Engine: Yamaha V-Star 1100 V-Twin. Stock
Intake: Stock Twin carb with K&N ‘pod mod’ re-jetted, synchronized, and de-smogged for maximum performance.
Exhaust: Stock headers with heat shields replaced with heat-wrapping, with torque cones and custom stainless steel mufflers custom cut out of Honda VTX headers with heat shields removed. Installed ‘lolly-pop’ baffles for back-pressure and better sound.
Transmission: Stock 5 speed.
Suspension: Stock
Wheels, tires and brakes: Stock brakes with vintage Firestone tire in front and wide Bridgestone in rear.
Finish – Paint: Stock paint with 13 decal on tank, engine heads painted hammered gun metal gray with aluminum accent. Painted black final drive, painted black instrument cover, black painted foot controls.
Accessories: Avon grips, 5″ Dogbone risers, internally wired Clubman handlebars, Kuryakyn Scythe Blade Mirrors, polished brake reservoir, halogen rear turn signals wt. LED front bullet signals, Custom made upper fork covers, Yamaha Bolt fork boots, Custom painted axle covers, Old School horn cover, Bendex form faux air filter, Tailblazer rear flashing brake light/turn signal conversion, custom added tool box.
