2005 Harley-Davidson FLSTFI

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To get back on the road, riding with my brothers.

What motivated you to start your project?

On a road to visit another one of our chapters. my previous bike a 08 FXDC I went down and totaled. Slid a good 30 feet got some road rash, and busted rotator cuffs etc. Blessing in disguise I’d say. Some of my brothers gifted me a rolling frame with everything but the engine. It’s a 05 FLSTFI Fatboy has custom hard bag kit, 16″ Lucky T bars, S&S 510 cams, Legend Shocks, JD fab T Sport Fairing to go with the killer midnight black paint job. Another brother donated a chrome 88cu engine to make the build complete. One of my chopper homies help put this bike together with late night hours and hard work. Very thankful for brothers and the blessings they have given me.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Custom vented oil tank cap that’s is mounted by a chain for the slight chance someone add to much oil. I don’t lose my cap on the road.

What are you most proud of?

Just the total over all look and the blessings of my brothers and fellowship in the process of the build.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

It’s a killer bike and looks gangster. Super impressed in the build complete time frame.
