What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To clean up a few items I saw as eyesores.

What motivated you to start your project?

A buddy had the bike at his mountain house and needed it gone.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Custom machined parts to clean up the aesthetics and add some custom storage compartments and functionality to the bike.

What are you most proud of?

I enjoy the clean overall look and the opportunity to create custom parts.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

It looks good and where can I buy those parts?

Money spent: Only a few hundred. Fab’d most from existing materials
Engine: Mostly stock except for exhaust and airbox parts from British Customs.
Intake: Carbureted with K&N lters. Rejetted for exhaust and intake mods.
Exhaust: Cocktail Shaker exhaust that I credit British Customs for providingbut not exactly sure of manufacturer.
Transmission: Stock 5 speed
Frame: Stock frame, custom fender, turn signals, brake light, license plateholder and seat. Custom CNC billet machined covers and plugsthroughout the chassis. Speedo delete. Chain guard delete.Passenger delete. Kuryakyn mirrors.
Suspension: Custom fork with upper tube covers.
Wheels, tires and brakes: Custom oversize 21″ front wheel, front tire Shinko 777 120/70/21,custom oversize rear wheel 18″ wheel, rear tire Metzler ME880180/55/18
Finish – Paint: Tank is factory, rear fender custom gloss black.
Accessories: Front turn signals are LED strips hidden within the control cables. Custom billet disc lock, seat bracket cover, frame tube plug, socket head cap screw plugs, cable adjuster covers. Rumored to be Danny Elfman’s (Oingo Boingo) bike before it was customized. Was sold to previous owner at a charity auction.
