2002 Honda Shadow

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

not a clue where to begin , so i just tore it apart and went from there. had a couple pictures of shadow builds and went from there, a piece of everyone of them.

What motivated you to start your project?

i have never built a bike , and was kind of dared into it

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

the paint and suspension , i knew what a wanted , just figuring out how to get there !

What are you most proud of?

the paint , layers upon layers , the skulls in the paint , and using rhino-liner , ive never seen it done before

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

have people try and buy it ,,, loved it , hated it , but everyone atleast wants to ride it

Engine: just a 650cc everyday driver engine , didnt change much , wanted to keep the reliability
Intake: carb, with 4inch K&N air filter
Exhaust: cut off mufflers and tuned
Transmission: factory trans , this thing was driven everyday,, wanted to keep it plain and simple
Frame: none
Suspension: normal rear swing arm , removed strut and installed aluminum dog bone for ride high, made into a hard tail
Wheels, tires and brakes: factory tires
Finish – Paint: powder coated wheels and light from a chopper , 4 shades of black and black Rhino-liner , lime green pinstripes
Accessories: seat was made from the vest of previous owner , he was wearing it when he laid it down at 70mph, solo saddle bag refurbished from my old harley , 15 sets of LEDs with programmer box,
