2002 Harley Davidson Kit Softail

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Needed a bike.

What motivated you to start your project?

In 2002 I saved $2500 down for a good used Harley.  Got turned down.  A customer order a frame, engine and trans but didn’t want the setup.  I used the money and purchased those parts and over the past 20+ years I collected parts and assembled a bike.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Went to MMI just make sure it was roadworthy.  I did spend more than a few nights along side the road before that.

What are you most proud of?

After years of working on my babe I finally got “sure looks nice” from my mother (she’s an old cowgirl).

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

“Looks dangerous”
