2000 Yamaha Roadster

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To build a custom pro street type bike

What motivated you to start your project?

I’m a disabled veteran I needed something to do so I would not concentrate on my pain all the time, this has been a good distraction.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Shaving all the unnecessary tabs off the frame and cleaning up the forks by smoothing and removing unwanted tabs/mounts

What are you most proud of?

Teaching myself how to do things I would might have paid someone for like internal wiring of the handlebars and shortening soldering and cleaning up all the wiring. Most important other than the wheels and tires I reused all old parts that I cleaned up and repurposed

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

They all seem to like that I smoothed everything out
