2000 Susuki GZ250

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I wanted to be different, I wanted to give it a soul, a personality. It’s came out as a mix between “bobber” and “rat rod”.A “Rat-bob”, I suppose…

What motivated you to start your project?

It’s my first motorcycle I have ever owned, first motorcycle I’ve even ever ridden!

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I’d say using old license plates for side covers. Using Nissan Sentra sway bar end links to convert it to a hard tail.

What are you most proud of?

I did everything myself. I learned a whole lot building it.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

I get a lot of compliments on it. People are surprised to find out that it’s a 2000, they suspect it’s older than it is (part of my goal/vision)

This is all around a badass bike. I like what you did with the front light set up and everything else!

The build has no visual flow. Your eye should be drawn across the bike with each component integrated to create the impression you wish to leave upon the observer. You did accomplish your objective of building something different. At least you took a swing.
