2000 84’d Harley Davidson FLHP

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

As always, to take the classic HD styling, get rid of the clutter, strip it down, open it up and reveal the art that is the machine itself.

My objective is to be able to see through, around and into all that makes up the whole of the bike, the frame, engine, front end, etc.

At the same time getting rid of bulky, unsightly elements that take away from the classic lines that already exist,  rerouting, relocating, eliminating. Subtle yet significant changes while retaining rideability and function.

What motivated you to start your project?

old pics of previous builds plus had one sitting on the stand for a couple of years.

figured it was time.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Fender support brackets

What are you most proud of?

The whole bike

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

They seem to like it. They are friends and family so there may be some bias involved. I’d like to see how the general public responds.
I’m satisfied with it either way.
