1999 Titan Roadrunner

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To restore it to it’s original condition as best I could.

What motivated you to start your project?

My 1999 Titan Roadrunner.  A classic neglected back from brink of becoming a parts bike.  Replaced rocker boxes, Hypercharger, upper fork covers, triple clamp cover, taillight, shocks, cam cover, in addition to valve springs, battery, stator, regulator, drive belt, billet grips, front & rear master cylinders, forward controls, seat.  After owning several Sportsters I finally moved up to a real bike & the difference is indescribable.  Thanks for checking my baby out.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Replaced several corroded neglected parts which the chrome was beyond repair.

What are you most proud of?

It no longer has the worn out neglected junk-bike look.  I feel good when I look at it now.  Redbeard’s Cycles of New Orleans helped me bring it back to life and a pleasure to ride.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

“Cool bike bro, is that a Harley”.  Which it isn’t but commonly referred to as a Fatboy/FXR clone.  Titan motorcycles originally, from what I’ve heard, were designed by ex Screaming Eagle engineers  Nothing but the best parts were used and it stands up against any commercially made motorcycle to this day.
