What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Low and wide, simple and reliable

What motivated you to start your project?

I wanted to try to build something from the ground up.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

The twist front brake located on the left grip

What are you most proud of?

I fabricated most of the mounts, fender struts, front brake master cylinder, double barrel shotgun tail/brake lights, ball peen hammer fork stops, Samurai sword shifting

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

A long distance bicycle rider just said, “that is the most unique motorcycle I have ever seen”. I said, “thanks, I think”.

Engine: HD 1340 “Porkerized” by Porky from the Black ills of SD
Intake: Mikuni Carb with a PM Black Ops air cleaner
Exhaust: Bassani, Covington Lake style. toro cones added and some steel wool for the neighbors. I also shaped, died and riveted some leather to the heat shields.
Transmission: 5 speed stock HD
Frame: Rolling Thunder softail, 40 degree rake, no stretch
Suspension: Progressive shocks.
Wheels, tires and brakes: 200 Avon X 16″ front and rear, front one set to run in reverse direction
Finish – Paint: I painted the bike candy apple red over grey primer, dead rat black with a very satin clear
Accessories: Biltwell grips, exile internal wiring handlebars, Led Sled floor boards, EFM auto clutch, BDL open primary, Roland Sands rear fender, Custom riser by All Metal of the Black Hills or SD, La Rosa seat, saddle bag and tool bag, Twisted Chopper foot controls
