1999 Custom Buell Cyclone

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

It was all about building a bike that was my style and unlike anything else. Most of all to be able to show it and hop on it and ride 200 miles

What motivated you to start your project?

I wanted to build a crazy frame to challenge myself.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I am most proud of the frame with the twists. The down tube is 4 pieces of 3/4″ solid bar that was twisted in a lathe.

What are you most proud of?

Being able to say that i built the frame and springer front.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

They always want to know how it rides and how the roundstock was twisted. Alot of people like the paint ,which i did not do

Engine: 1999 buell m2 1200cc with wiseco pistons it makes 101hp
Intake: Cv carb with a bare knuckle choppers velocity stack
Exhaust: I built the exhaust and its wide open
Transmission: 5 speed stock
Frame: 6out 4up with a 34 degree rake, rear stretch is 8″ and 3.5″ drop seat. Built by me
Suspension: Well i built the springer front end and nothing on the rear
Wheels, tires and brakes: 21″ invader wheel up front and a 16″ invader with a circumference rotor with 6 piston caliper on the rear
Finish – Paint: Shawn long at imperial house laid down the paint.
Accessories: I machined the pushrod covers,the grips,mirror,gas cap are speed dealers customs, seat was by Rich Phillips leather
