1998 Harley Davidson FXSTC

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I wanted something low and wide…

What motivated you to start your project?

I needed something to do… I took up restoring and rebuilding bikes as a hobby when I bought a house with a garage a couple years ago.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I rebuilt the tank console using a louvered vent cover. I built the rear fender with two layers of sheet metal with reinforcement in between and welded it to the stock frame struts.

What are you most proud of?

The spare fuel bottle…
Also making the rear wheel fit. It took quite a lot of lathing and grinding.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

A lot. 🙂
