1997 Harley Davidson FXSTC

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I wanted to make a lot of parts out of stainless.

What motivated you to start your project?

I finally accumulated the right tools and space to build a bike from the ground up again. I’ve had some ideas for things I wanted to fab on the bike for a long time, just was waiting for the right time to do it.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

 bike?
I would say the pipes. Ive always like pie cuts. They take so much time and thought, but i love look. You are able to make very tight bends with them so I was able to bend the front pipe through the center of the down tubes which is uncommon for an evo motor with the way they located the exhaust ports.

What are you most proud of?

Time will test it, but I built it to be ridden and put alot of time into beefing up brackets and making each part to withstand all the vibration. Ive traveled on bikes for over 10 years and seen which parts fail and tried to build everything to be extra strong.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Most people I meet seem to like it and are always talking about the open primary with the dry clutch spinning away.
