1996 Triumph Trophy

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Resurrect a badly neglected dead moto.

What motivated you to start your project?

This bike is a daily rider homage to the liter+ MotoGP bikes of the 80’s

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

This bike has a dual rotor oilpump.  the OEM design used one rotor to oil the engine, and, the second rotor to circulate oil through the cooler and dump it back in the sump.   I enlarged the oil cooler and replumbed its output back to the camshaft feed.  at temperature this bike has 30 psi at idle and 60 psi  cruise.

What are you most proud of?

So many details ….  minor improvements here and there, it has been a journey.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

People tell me it is dirty and needs a bath.
