1996 Santee Custom

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To build a dependable, old school bike that I could tour with.

What motivated you to start your project?

I don’t like newer bikes.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Adding an ultra classic air ride suspension.

What are you most proud of?

I’m proud that I did most of the build on my own minus the performance work on the motor.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

People say it has a great old school look as compared to the street glides, road glides and the rest of the big plastic boats on the road that seem to be so popular these days. It’s not a me too.
