1989 Harley-Davidson Flhtcu

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Clean the tank and get it going… but once this was off fix that, well if this is off replace that and it just snowballed lol

What motivated you to start your project?

I started this build because I inherited this bike. It was my girls dads. He had a stroke and it sat 10 years at the beach. I’m a chopper/performance guy at heart but I couldn’t let it die.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Nothing really that’s never been done. It’s the things I did to get it back to serviceable that know one will ever notice. Swingarm repair, Swingarm reinforcements, re welding tabs, welding kickstand etc….

What are you most proud of?

That I did it all with the bare minimum, and that I touched every nut, bolt, seal, gasket, washer Etc…

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Love it or hate it they all seem to talk about it lol
