1985 Harley-Davidson FLH

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Have a reliable chopper that I can always hop on and ride. And be able to take on trips without being afraid of breakdowns.

What motivated you to start your project?

I have always wanted to build a bike from the ground up. I have done hardtails before and a whole frame is a whole other level of complexity.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I think the electric start open primary with the newer 5 speed is the most unique. Not many people use the newer 5 speed in choppers with a electric start and an open primary.

What are you most proud of?

The frame. This turned out exactly how I imagined it.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Is that comfy? How do you ride that? How far can you go on a tank. I like the pipes. I like the color. You built that?
