What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Making a Road King look alike with a shovelhead.

What motivated you to start your project?

Wanted a bike my wife and I could ride on.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Relocated the battery under the seat and lowered the bike to fit the Road King saddlebags.

What are you most proud of?

The paint and hand crafted inner fairing and side covers.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

They want to know why I put a shovelhead in a Road King.

Exhaust: Stock 2 into 1 new old stock mufflers with turndown tips.
Transmission: 5 speed
Frame: Stock Harley Davidson with modifications to fit battery under seat, Road King tank and saddlebags.
Suspension: Stock 41mm front end. Stock swing arm. Lowered 1 1/2 inches in rear with FLHR air shocks.
Wheels, tires and brakes: 3.00X16 tires front and rear. Stock brakes. Relocated rear brake fluid reservoir.
Finish – Paint: Painting and polishing done by me.
Accessories: Hollow batwing with custom fiberglass inner fairing and cut down windshield. Knucklehead reproduction handlebars. Pyle stereo with JBL speakers. Road King nacelle and high output headlight and spotlights.
