1983 Harley Davidson FLHS

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

having a cool old school bike that can haul ass!

What motivated you to start your project?

wanted to build something we didnt see every day then…

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I personnaly took everything off the bike, the only things that werent touched were the front end and the swingarm.  I actually had to modify the frame for the seat, the oil bag/battery case and the electrical circuit.  Comlete engine rebuilt, fitted a 21 inch front wheel in an FL front fork with brand new homemade electricals in the headlamp nacel.  Brand new powdercoat on the frame, the engine and the wheels (gold).  Being retired from the military after 25 years, i had to put a little army touch to the bike as well…  the heatshields are made from 76mm tank rounds and there is 7.62 x 39mm spent casinds on a bunch of bolts on the engine.

What are you most proud of?

My motor.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

that it rocks!!
