What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Build something new and cool!

What motivated you to start your project?

I wanted to build a turbo charged derake chopper and put the turbo under the neck where you typically see a lot of room on a normal derake chopper.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

The gas/oil tanks I hand made are probably the most unique part besides the turbo!

What are you most proud of?

Pulling it off!

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

I’ve gotten a good response on the turbo shovelhead build and mostly hear that things a beast!

Engine: Harley Davidson 1981 80″ shovelhead

Intake: Draw through carb/turbo set up

Exhaust: Custom made turbo exhaust

Transmission: Baker 6 into 4 electric/kick start

Frame: Custom built single down tube frame , up 9.5 inches, out 3/4 of an inch, 29 degree rake.

Suspension: Hard tail

Wheels, tires and brakes: Led Sled wheels 18 inch rear double 5 spoke, 21 inch front. Continental conti tour tires, Harley softail rear brake only with a Led Sled rotor

Finish – Paint: Lee at pyrotec cycles painted the tins

Accessories: I handmade the handle bars, manually machined the purple acrylic grips, toe pegs, and tire valve stem caps. I made the foot controls, battery tray, and machined the wheel axle hubs and steering neck and 3D printed the tail lights in the wheel axle hubs. Hand made the seat pan and Rich Phillips wrapped the seat in a black leather with silver and purple stitching!
