1972 Harley Davidson Custom

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I wanted to build something long and skinny but also practical…..well as practical as a 10 foot long motorcycle can be

What motivated you to start your project?

I love choppers and Shovelhead choppers In particular so when it came time to build a bike, a shovel chop is the only choice that made sense

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I modified the frame to accept an air bag from an old Harley Police bike seat.  That air bladder really helps smooth out these rough N Alabama roads

What are you most proud of?

The fact that I did everything on the build.  From reassembling the engine to welding and fabrication to powder coating the frame and sheet metal.  It’s a true garage built bike.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Most people just stare with a few chiming in how cool it is.  Had an older lady that sat beside it and shared with me that it reminded her of the bike from “Easy Rider” and that was her recently deceased husbands favorite movie.  Pretty cool
