1965 BSA Thunderbolt

What motivated you to start your project?

I’m 75 years old and I’ve been riding since I was 16 my first bike was a 650 BSA Thunderbolt and I chopped it with a springer and a teardrop tank and cut the rear fender and flared it and put a small fender on the front and painted it candy apple red one of the only ones around in the area where I lived

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

The paint job

What are you most proud of?

I had the only one around

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Every one wanted to ride it but couldn’t get used to the springer and how easy I could do wheelies

Videos

The only thing I didn’t like about it was when I was drinking I couldn’t kick start the bike which was a good thing but I really loved that bike
