What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Custom Restoration

What motivated you to start your project?

Friend that had equipped hot rod shop in Stockton was retiring to Idaho.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Trying to restore and keep all original parts.

What are you most proud of?

I did everything myself. I rebuilt motor, bead blasted /painted and polished parts and painted bodywork. Huge shoutout to Russ Kiler of California Cushman Club for his wealth of knowledge and tips.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

They love it. Pretty rare to see when I ride it around town.

    i have a 57 cushman eagle, just imported it from usa,i am having problems with throttle grip..i have looked on website but cant find an exterior throttle like mine , cant seem to get it to fit ,, can anyone help a dumb brit please

    It’s totally insanely amazing,,I can’t stop checking it out man oh man good resto..I had one back in the early 70s when all my buddies we’re getting taco mini bikes,then my god father gave me this used cushman that was just not being used by his son ..so I did some work on the engine paint and made it look cool with the loud straight pipes..I just became the big dog in our neighborhood..

      hy tony good luck with the cushman,, i loved mine i bought it from usa, with a vw splitscreen bus. but when it got here eventually,, i couldnt ride the damn thing, i have had a knee replacement and was struggling,, so i sold it ,,, big mistake,it was a beauty tho, so i am on the hunt for a nice vw splitscreen or oval , if you hear of anything out there tony, please help, and likewise if you need any think from the uk give me an email thanks and i am really jealous right now thanks
