What was your intended objective when you started the build?

A scooter that would “fit” me, have plenty of power, easy to start and ride.

What motivated you to start your project?

Bucket list project after I retired

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Installing a V-Twin engine in a frame, Originally designed for a single cylinder.

What are you most proud of?

Ground and filled all joints on the frame, painted the bike myself.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

“Unique”, most don’t know its a Cushman.

    James nice effort , I It rated as excellent due to it being different & the copious amount of work spent on the project . The 18hp Honda V twin generator motor is definitely cool & it must be sneaky quick . 1 question though , you say it was built to fit you , are you a decedent of one munchkins ?

Engine: 18 HP V-Twin Honda
Intake: Stock, polished
Exhaust: Custom built and chromed to fit the scooter
Transmission: Custom billet aluminum jack shaft CV drive.
Frame: Stock 1962, modified for the Twin cylinder engine and drive system.
Suspension: Stock front telescoping forks, custom mounts built for seat springs on rear.
Wheels, tires and brakes: Steel, custom 12” with Michelin radial tire, custom hydraulic disc front and rear.
Finish – Paint: All joints on frame and tank custom filled, painted International Harvester Red.
Accessories: Electronic speedo unit with temp, RPM, clock, trip and hour meter. Head and tail lights adapted from a Harley Davidson.
