1959 Cushman Eagle

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To ride the Blue Ridge Parkway and enjoy the comradery of this awesome group of bikers!

What motivated you to start your project?

I suffered a stroke in November and needed a project and something to ride so got busy with the Cushman I found through a friend of mine who knew about the bike. The bike was in the Hilton Head, South Carolina area. I’m recovering from a stroke and my intention was to make it old school and rideable, I’ve been able to ride it on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I being a Navy Veteran designed the build around the Navy logo.

What are you most proud of?

The fact I was able to get some much needed parts for this 63 year old bike, and the wonderful Cushman enthusiast who where more than helpful in knowing the right people for this build.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Very kind and thoughtful remarks and of course wanting to know if I would sell it, she’s a beautiful bike!
