What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Clean, paint and fix everything.

What motivated you to start your project?

The old pan needed cleaned up.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

The handlebars are stock two-piece panhead, welded together with a third piece and chromed. Throttle and timer advance cables run through the handlebars. Very clean.

What are you most proud of?

Daily rider.

Motorcycle cost: Bike goes fast and far.
Engine: Bottom end is 1957 with solids and Sifton 412 cam. Top end is 1964 (outside oilers), Manley high dome forged pistons and oversize stainless valves. Stock 1964 dual point timer.
Intake: Stock. Linkert M74 carb.
Exhaust: 2 inch Drag Pipes.
Transmission: 1964 stock 4-speed; ratchet top with hand shift. Suicide clutch.
Frame: Wishbone Harley hardtail; little bit of rake.
Suspension: 12 inches over wide glide
Wheels, tires and brakes: Star hubs; 16 inch rear and 21 inch front runner. Stock mechanical rear brake and no front brake.
Finish – Paint: Black lacquer.
Accessories: Not much.
