1952 Harley-Davidson FL

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I wanted something that no one else in town had.

What motivated you to start your project?

The motor had been in need of a rebuild and it was either that or buy a house. So it sat in my basement for 25 years while life got in the way so it was long past due to rebuild.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

After several tries at different carbs I settled on a CV that came off a Softtail I once had. Shovel head top end.

What are you most proud of?

All of it.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

I get lots of compliments
